The REALTRUTH about Albertsons product sourcing. I took a late lunch and went to an Albertsons near my office to pick up a few items. I did not see Nutrabars or Chewies in the isle. I asked an employee stocking items on the next isle if she knew about Nutrabars or Chewies. she said no and asked another stock clerk who asked another stock clerk, then they got the manager to come over. the manager, a woman in her late 50's, had not heard about Nutrabars or Chewies. The first stock clerk googled them on her phone and showed images to the manager. The manager was sure she had not heard of either item before. The manager then said that the pet section was "reset" less than two weeks ago. I asked what reset meant and she said it means the inventory offered is fixed for several weeks. I asked if she could access a database to see if bars or Chewies were on order. She said that Albertsons does not have such a database. I then asked her if they get advance notice about new products. She said the distribution center just sends them products and they then "reset" the section to accommodate those products.

I do not doubt that AAPT got a $12,000 test order from Albertsons, but I am seriously doubting the fake claims that store managers get advanced notice about new products, and that a store manager has advanced notice of consumer reactions or knows that every Albertsons will be carrying AAPT products.

I have no problem with differing opinions. I have big issues with people that do not tell the truth and try to mislead others for their personal financial gain.

I encourage those who have access to an Albertsons to go ask about bars and Chewies and I guaranty that your results will be similar to my report and not the other report with the visibly false data.
