It is amazing what the banks did back in the 2008-meltdown, screw the taxpayers(homebuyers). But shortly after that, what the government did? SAME thing the banksters did, screw the shareholders(also taxpayers), with the clause of "never been able to pay the debt". Since the debt is near to Net Zero, FnF/Freddie MUST be released. I think, the government has met its payback goal, and it is time to Unleash the Giants: fannie and freddie. Just remember: politicians are puppets only, anything they say is for a purpose: serve their masters wishes.
