No, one appraisal works both exchanges. The issue now is cost of the appraisal plus some input will be given from the exchanges. For example some appraisers may be more familiar with certain types of 'offsets' and the exchange may prefer to have that particular appraiser doing the appraisal. There's also the issue of compost ingredients, for example the east coast exchange prefers animal waste, whereas the west coast values food waste higher.

The appraising could start a few weeks after the appraisers are selected, but then the timing on when to start the composting season is a factor. Normally the company would not start to load the site with raw materials until late January or early February. The question is will the appraisers want to see the site fully loaded and operational, or just take measurements and do projection estimates. I'm sure management has some studying to do regarding when is the best time to have them come out to the site. So it could be after the first of the year before they come, but after all this effort we don't want to come up short because we didn't wait a few extra weeks.

Additionally, I believe the company may be working on getting some food waste delivered to the property, nothing for certain, but if that happens it will be very big.
