I'm not old, sonny, just been around a little longer than you, apparently. I do remember Wilt scoring 100, though. I was about 8. Believe it or not, they did have video back then...um, even TV...lol!!!
Not documented, ...lol. I guess nothing caught on videotape is "documented." LOL.
By the way Wilt dominated his era. Kobe is a "shooter." That's about all. Chamberlain had 25 rebounds in his 100 point game. How many did Kobe have? Also, Chamberlain was virtually unstoppable....If Kobe shoots 40-50 times a game, he should be able to score 40 points a game, especially with the three point rule now.
He is fun to watch. However, he's a selfish player, imo and doesn't make his team better. I won't get into his character issues. Wilt had his problems in that area, also, and I'm not huge Wilt fan.
