rafael already shot his wad. the teaqueda is out of favor with even the mentally ill wing of the republicans. he will be a footnote in short order... he pissed off some of the money people who are also tired of the Koch antics. It is a lesson that even Bachmann should have easily understood during her flirtation with the brothers and her prom dream of being President, if she had the level of brains granted to a cow pie, which is a clear stretch. Cruz's problem is not being stupid, it is overselling a really lame bill of goods.

The hitching of the Cruz wagon to Sarah Palin is like pissing on an electric fence... it causes a jolt, but within a few milliseconds, the thrill is gone.
