Before, POW! sold their IP to other companies to make movies and stuff (maybe for royalties also). This time it's different (you should be cautious whenever someone says that), POW! is in partnerships. "Chakra" is POW!-Graphic India and "Mighty 7" is A Squared-Archie Comics-POW! partnerships, I guess "Zodiac" is Disney-POW!.

I'm (righty or wrongly) assuming that POW! gets an equal share of the profits (I'm also assuming that whoever funds the projects should get their money back first, again rightly or wrongly). POW! does throw in the Stan Lee IP so that may pay for their share of the partnership (you've seen what MAgic Storm paid for Stan Lee IP).
