I see it as a continued indicator of growth and long-term shareholder value being built, regardless of what the SEC is looking at. Regarding the SEC investigation, I know I hold a minority view, but I personally viewed the SEC announcement as a positive PR; these guys are now legally being held accountable for their actions, and it will force them to walk the straight and narrow from here on out with close scrutiny of their actions. Who knows, at the end of all this we could see major reversals/return of some of the things we've all continued to complain about such as outrageous executive compensation and bonuses, share structure, the shady sportswear operation, etc.; maybe even share buyback or share cancellations will be forced upon the company. Who knows, but my personal feeling is that it was probably the best thing to happen for the longs. Sure, there could be short term fallout, but those short term events/movements are meaningless to me...
