Need your opinions !! It is often mentioned that a reverse split is the kiss of death for a sub-penny but what is your opinion about the specific time period when a PRE 14C is filed and when the actual reverse split occurs? Take UCHC as an example, wouldn't it make sense for the powers that be to do everything in their arsenal to raise RAISE PPS in an effort to maximize the post split PPS? IF they are going to eventually "walk it back down" - wouldn't it make sense to do so from a higher shareprice ?

.0001 now = 50cents post split (in the case of UCHC) but if it could get to say .0005 then post split it would trade at $2.50. How often do price spikes occur during the time when a reverse split is announced via a filing and when it actually takes place? TIA
