Well...I think there was a lot of posting on various boards (not by me) about SOTK being a 3D stock, and/or as the supplier of air jetting nozzles to Optomec that created a lot of volume/excitement.
Looking at the chart there were a lot of longer term shareholders in from the .60-.90 range that probably took their profits on that opportunity. I didn't buy or sell during the hype, but added a few today now that it's quieted down.
SOTK is not a pure 3d company of course, but they do utilize a form of 3D printing in their manufacturing, they are now, and have been involved with some research in 3d printing, and their earnings are expected to improve going forward according to the CEO.
So those are reasons to buy the stock (IMO), now that the Optomec rumors and hype has run its course.
Volume was very low today- lack of sellers at this level now.
