I believe we have a better chance of surviving/being treated fairly with liberals rather than conservatives, and that is not a political statement

The GOP basically blamed the housing crisis on FnF in their 2012 platform: "FnF were a primary cause of the housing crisis because their implicit government guarantee allowed them to avoid market discipline and make risky investments"

Yet somehow their portfolio was far less risky than the private banks that had no government guarantee.
