It's funny.. people think silver is going to move because of this or that line of reasoning, but in the end it moves when a few people want it to move. They play on the emotions of people who buy in because of some inflation fear, or govt shutdown, or some perceived strength or weakness in the economy or the dollar.. in the end it's just one big scam. I'm doing well buying when everyone is selling and vice versa. Probably just getting lucky, I know, but I have zero faith that this is anything other than a day at the blackjack tables.
