Exactly what I was thinking. I have experience living in high inflation countries. Argentina is absolutely brutal, prices have increased 400% for simple food products. To the point where it's actually more expensive then here in the states. This spring I finally moved back here, there was no financial advantage there anymore. 5-8 years ago u could live really well for under 10kusd, now it's more or less the same price as living here.
The thing is that I have a way out...the locals are just completely screwed....
If u take a look at the Mexican stock market, it's indice a average is 40000+, if we start to lose value of the dollar, stocks could actually go higher right? The DOW could march up to 25k.
Again, I have no idea how this works.... But if we are wondering how the SPY keeps making new highs, this could be the reason
