I am totally amazed by the drivel on the YMB about INSM. It confounds me how people on both sides of the issues think they can in any way influence the pps of a stock. I am not a trader and if ranked on a scale of 1-10 I am probably a 3.

I am however knowledgable in the field of endocrinology and cell biology. I have done extensive DD on the science behind Iplex and Insmed has done what no one else has been able to do. They have been able to couple binding protein 3 with a primary growth hormone to produce a compound with a vast array of applications. Their pipeline consists of various uses for this molecule and I believe they ahve put together the final piece of a puzzle that no one else has been able to do. They have tamed the wild growth hormone and made it palatable to the individual cells without the side effects common to compounds like Increlex, etc. Insmed has been able to reproduce a naturally occuring compound and I believe from what I read the orphan status they were granted for Iplex will carry over to all applications of the drug since any further approval by the FDA will only be for additional uses of the same drug. I'm not sure about the off label use of Iplex but the possible uses of this drug if all goes well will overshadow the short growth stature use for which it was approved.

Finding a partner or a buyout are items in the equation that I am concerned about but have no control over. I just hope that all goes well with the future of this drug in their pipeline and so far there have been no negative results that I can see. The burn, hip fracture, HIV and cancer indications alone bode upwards of a million cases worldwide. If all goes well we will see the coming of afe of a drug that does not come along very often.

You folks who have been here for years I believe will realize gains you never thought about ten years ago. For people like me who just recently discovered this unpolished gem I hope to take the ride with you. The daily fluctuations of this stock while all this sorts out do not concern me. Everyone just keep your eye on the future and very possibly we will be rewarded, maybe even before Ghermund Bold finds his dog!
