wbmw, It tends to concur with my notion that AMD is underestimating Intel.
You can be sure that they don´t. But what you (in this case the AMD guy) say in public (PR) and actually know are very different things.
Just look at Otellini´s words about AMD having maybe gained up to
1% of marketshare in the low-end desktop space. That´s basically the same thing. Downplay the competition in public, and hype your own stuff to create the impression that you "rule"
. That´s what marketing is all about.
