First post - been buying NNVC for a while now.

Hard to contribute anything when there are so many knowledgeable posters who post so quickly and whose posts are so thorough.

Just would like to says a few things. Love the technology - effective, nontoxic, easy to synthesize drugs to treat new viruses. Flucide and Denguecide are excellent choices for viruses to start with. Flucide has a huge market and denguecide is a great choice for an orphan drug candidate.
In regards to some of the recent conversation, I don't think the flu vaccine will ever go away. Always better to prevent illness than to treat it later - as prevention is usually cheaper, decreases sick days, and better for patients. That being said, the flu vaccine made yearly is based on educated guesses. They choose about three strains of flu that they think will be the most common and make the vaccine from those. Thus the vaccine may not include a strain and that strain fuels a pandemic. Or the virus mutates over the course of the year and patient's who received the vaccine are no longer protected. Or a virus jumps from birds/pigs to humans. So in spite of the vaccine, flucide is needed. Love the concept of governments stockpiling flucide and think that would definitely happen.
