Me neither. I do not know what is wrong and what is right. I was just offering perspective. In the grand scheme of numbers I think that offering 50% will look silly and eventually will bite back. Some may take it, some may not. But the truth is that Fannie and Freddie are all about large, very large numbers. To the point that all Jrs. could be seen as inconsequential.
Sure the government can do anything they want. The government can also choose to continue to overreach and dilute the concept of "rule of law" to the detriment of the nation.
Trying to hurt shareholders for possible political benefits, this too is also silly. My humble view.
