Isn't it interesting though that for all these events, conferences, and presentations where we thought there was potential for real news the shorts stuck around. Why would they stick around when there was more risk but wonder off now?

Is it the symposium?

Do they have the playbook as JDM suggests?

Maybe the build up of short interest had more to do with USA's fiscal cliff and some funds were betting on default? I don't monitor other stock's short interest, have others noticed a dramatic decrease in SI?
