Telling On Myself
I hate to admit this, but I’m going to you what happened to today. However, I thought maybe my lack of proper attention and fools mistake may help others, so here I go.
I was out shopping at local Growers Outlet buying fruits and veggies, like a lot of stores these days they just have a concrete floor. I was looking over the celery looking for just the right bunch when I hear a clink noise below me. I look down and there is gun magazine full of ammo on the floor, and it is mine. I see the wife looking at as well as lady standing to next to me, so I reached down, picked the magazine, stuck in my pocket and walked on. Here’s what happened.
I was wearing my Galco Miami Vise shoulder rig with a holster on one side and dual magazine pouch on the other. These are Leather Retention Holsters and apparently I hadn’t checked them for good retention lately. It was a little embarrassing, but it could have been very embarrassing, or worse I might have lost one or both spare magazines full of expensive self-defense ammo. So, I tell you this in case you carry a retention holster and haven’t checked to see how that retention adjustment is holding up.
