But from what I've researched regarding the political dynamics in the Iraq-Kurd-Turkey-Syrian refugee equation-

The further the Kurds manage to distance themselves from Iraq the more secure the oil discovered there becomes.

Iraq at this point is a colony of Iran and the U.S. cannot afford to admit it.

Exporting through Turkey is the only way the Kurds KEEP their $$$-
