would not doubt that either GS or a big pharma, are behind such misfortunes when a small bio company is successful, but plays hard to get. would not be surprised if representatives from a certain firm or corporation, is informing harv that they can have a very strong influence when determining what makes it to the market. which could mean that at the moment, they could be discussing with him, that they think it would be in his best interest, if he sells the company...in other words, sell the company, if he would like to see his most recent problems go away.
cant think of to many other small bios on the market that are not up for sale. in this day and age, i would think it not to be in the best interest for ariad to be flipping the deep pocket firms and corporations the bird, at their stage in the game.
