“Astronomical” value is what sticks in my mind (thanks for the lead in Michael). That is what I have been trying to tell people for a few years (without ever using that word). We can value a drug that works for one or two indications, it happens all the time. But NO ONE, not you or I or big pharma, has ever seen something like this that works on “EVERYTHING.” Maybe it even is Goodjohnhunting’s “fountain of youth” providing "homeostatic balance". I know the public defenders on this board have ridiculed those who have said Bavi & the PS platform is worth 5, 10, or 50 billion. But IMO, Astronomical is the best estimate that I have heard so far. That is what came out of low-keyed, down-playing, SK’s mouth when he finished answering the question of partnering. After repeating for years and repeating again today that they wanted to partner before starting the PHIII trial, IF they had to go it alone and completed it alone with good results the value would then be…… ASTRONOMICAL. ...…..kinda fits in nicely with our new term “GLOBAL.”

That being said, and in an effort not to repeat what the others have said already, I heard most of the same things and got the same vibes, and came out of the meeting feeling good about the future. I don’t think anything is imminent but by end of year or no later than March we should see some movement. I don’t think it is years away as some feel, but like Robert C said, it won’t be like this when the ASM rolls around next year.

There was a question about Brekken (great guy to succeed the good Dr Thorpe, by the way) and his lab running the preclinicals and about how many they have run, more or less than 20? He said much less than twenty but some have completed and they are getting good results. They expect those results to be repeated in the clinical trials setting just like the Bavi ones have.
I also liked his wording during the after-meeting discussions that Bavi would “absolutely” work on many different cancers. That sticks in my mind.
