What you say means a lot to me. I think you have made an excellent, balanced description and observation of Brian. I might add that he is also getting old and pretty tired. He is not going to waste energy (partly because he may have to reserve his energy). Many people in their late 70's are needing to phase out and retire. Some much earlier than Brian.
I think (my guess) is that Brian wants all of his ducks lined up in order first. He may well be quite rigid and stubborn. And he may well be quite derelict in investor relations. But, he is still with us, and although we may be pre-Titanic, with many leaks, we have not sunk yet.
I am going to say it quite clearly--even if I stand totally alone in saying it. I like the man. Perhaps it is because I am 87, and can appreciate how the trend of the decline effects a man from age 70 for the next 17 years Waitedg
