No - not rumors about lumber ..... just was 1 of many examples of how underground placer mining is more expensive to mine than above ground placer mining and since no one can deny that folks try to change the subject. How can folks not see that? Do they think insurance is cheaper when blasting underground than when excavating on the surface? Is lighting up a tunnel or providing air supply in a tunnel cheaper than using the sun and wind above ground?
