I posted this earlier to someone else, I am making it available to all.

Do you understand that the whole trading community knows what everybody looks for on Level 2 and that unscrupulous individuals utilize that system to their own benefit. I know for a fact that when the debt conversions were happening, the group was shorting everyday. When the conversions were finished, they would start covering. Any trader can route their order to VERT or VFIN by specifically requesting their broker to route it that way. This is not dilution, this is a combination of the following:

some longs throwing in the towel
shorts trying to cover at .0011
while stacking the ask.

all IMHO.
