I don't buy this idea that buying at the bid or the ask will make much difference and move the price. If someone buys all the ask's at .042, but no one wants to buy at .043, then how does the price get to .043? Its seems that someone would have to settle in their own mind that .043 is a good place to buy before they place the order and buy. I don't buy "walking down the price" either. It seems that a lot of talk about market action has created these ideas and attracted traders to buy into the theory, but I still don't see it. I think prices will wonder around, but don't stray to far from the trading public's perception of what the price should be after looking at the hard numbers. IMHO, of course.
