Watching Thursday's Hearing

It is my understanding that both Worlds and Activision have agreed to cameras in the court for Thursday's 2PM EDT motion for summary judgment hearing.

According to the recording guidelines rule 3(a)(5):

The presiding judge should have a switch or be able to direct staff to stop a recording if the judge deems it necessary. The pilot recordings are not simulcast; thus, the judge can choose not to post the video for public view.

Also, under rule 6(a):

Unless the presiding judge deems otherwise, recordings of court proceedings should be made publicly available within a few hours.

So while we won't be able to watch the hearing live, the recording should be available "within a few hours" on the Cameras in Courts webpage. Look for the video to be posted under the "District of Massachusetts" section.

Max Tribble will be arguing against the motion for summary judgment for Worlds.

Buckle up your seatbelts. After all the delays, Worlds finally gets to be heard in court.
