The stock has not 'settled' lol. 30% of the float is short, there is only 16% institutional holdings. It is sitting where it is for 3 reasons.

1. Short interest has driven it down.

2. The lack of shares available to short now is limiting the ability of shorts to continue to put any further downward pressure on the stock in any meaningful manner.

3. There are no buyers of size (institutions) jumping in to give support to the stock and move the shorts into a more precarious position.

That is simply not a stock that is 'settled' with the market patiently waiting for news, its a stalemate. Understanding market dynamics is an important factor here versus taking a very simple and inexperienced view that the share price is stagnant/trading in a range because of investor 'patience'.
