A Question on where and how the cash will come

So with the $6 mill cash raised, will a pp be postponed several months? Why? Why would INSM wait to raise money when the launch is 2nd quarter of this year? Wouldn't their need for cash now with manufacturing going full bore plus new staff and a comerical launch demand funding now? What's the advantage in waiting several months? Also who feels that a partner with an up front payment is iminint and will head off the need for a private placement? Which is more likely? Couldn't they simply issue more shares on the open market?

I'm not an expert in these areas, so a little help would allow me to understand how this type of stratgeizing works
