The east is built on 5 teams. Knicks (I'm a knicks fan) Nets, Pacers, Bulls, and Heat.

Each one of these teams have there strength.

The Knicks Added Beno who will add depth at the PG position. Shump might be a breakout player in 2013-14. And I happen to love the Bargnani trade I think he could have a real good season. I think Anthony's scoring will drop this season, because bargs and Shump I expect to average around 30-35 points between them.

Nets are and incredibly deep team, and as Knick fan I'm certainly concerned. Having said that they have and inexperienced coach. And you have to wonder how much KG and Pierce have left. I like them, and think they are improved, but everyone has forgot to realize so are the Knicks.

Indiana has a really solid team with no weakness to speak of and George is on the cusp of stardom. They will be a difficult out.

Chicago-The question is Rose back. If he is going to be the same rose they are dangerous. They play hard and are greatly coached, my problem is they have lost a lot of depth over the last couple of years, I actually like Chicago as the 5th best team to be honest.

Miami- Yes Lebron is great, but Wade in my opinion is in decline. I think it won't be easy for them to get through The east.

Then there is a huge dropoff. I expect the Wizards to make it if wall can stay healthy. Maybe the cavs as well. And Maybe the pistons. That would be the 8 I would expect.

I think anyone of those 5 teams could represent the east if all goes well, because I think wade in decline has brought them back to the pack. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
