The reference that the apps out there by Ortiz's companies are crap because they are free.
Using that train of thought, then Facebook must be crap because it's free.
There are too many avenues for revenue through these apps developed by TDEY and his other companies to call them crap at this point.
There hasn't even been ANY marketing of these apps yet, so to say anything about the amount of downloads they CURRENTLY have is just gibberish.
Unless you know the direct name of the App3DTV app, it's kind of difficult to find through google play, just like any other unadvertised app would be.
The technical side of this that is being set up, is in my opinion being done very nicely, if TDEY advertises this properly this can be a HUGE push out of the gate. Even if the app turns out to be crap, (which I don't think it will) the idea will generate loads of revenue out of the gate which will bring in advertisements and other forms of revenue.
