Sprycel (& All), understand this about John Ragsdale...

That's just it… it happened over 10 years ago. It was filed on 03/05/2002 and was ”terminated” on 09/11/2002 as confirmed below:

I have a Pacer account too and I pulled up the case. John pleaded guilty, he was sentenced, and he was granted a ”new beginning” with his life. He later filed some motions to try to get it removed off of his records within the 5 year time frame which was denied. I believe he was trying to do such because according to SEC rules from when I spoke to someone from the SEC about this a while back, if you have had any prior convictions, 5 years have to elapse before you can become an ”Officer” or ”Director” of a ”Public” company. Him being denied I believe is what slid everything to the right to move years later with with GLER and Hawk Manufacturing.

This is why John’s history was something that I was neither concerned about ”then” nor concerned about ”now” with the GLER and Hawk union. Personally, I do not care about what he has done in the past over 10 years ago. I am focused on what he is doing right now to bring shareholder value to GLER that wasn’t here before. He is the person that is saving us GLER shareholders and transforming our shares of GLER into an investment. I am not concerned ”at all” about something that happened and was then ”legally” terminated over 10 years ago. ”Terminated” meaning that he was ”legally” given a ”new” start. His past doesn't bother me and will not affect anything that he is doing now. Again, he was ”legally” given a new start quite a few years ago. I'm more focused on ”the good” that he is doing for GLER now and for the future. We are still in good hands.

So far, he is doing what he said he would do which is to bring ”significant value” to us GLER shareholders through acquisitions from Hawk Manufacturing, Inc. Heck, I wouldn’t care if John Ragsdale was from Mars as long as he keeps doing the ”legitimate” things that he has promised. This is the market and the market doesn’t care either if he continues to do as he has been promising to do with GLER. So far… so good… as indicative from the Hawk acquisition of Trump Equipment Company (TEC).

John Ragsdale, from all that has been posted pro and/or con, again, still meets the SEC requirements for being an Officer and/or Director of a public company if he at any time so desires since 5 years or more has elapse since the incident. So, with anything that could be considered negative from John Ragsdale’s past of which had taken place over 10 years ago, I have no need to further research any of that because… that was then, but this is… now. Again… NONE OF IT MATTERS!

Regardless to how bad some might believe him to be, he was granted/given $10 million to use to acquire legitimate ”profitable” companies to place them into GLER and to pay off any GLER debt remaining before Hawk is rolled up into GLER. Again, read the posts below as I have personally verified this myself:

I believe soon we will see what else John brings into GLER. Who knows, maybe they have someone in mind besides John to be the CEO after Hawk rolls up into GLER. Maybe not. Maybe they just have other significant people that they will be bringing on board as Officers and Directors of the company moving forward to assist with its growth. Either way… I’m fine with my investment here with GLER.

As for why it’s better to not focus on the past, but instead to focus on the ”now” and the ”future”… read the post below:

Again, I think it is important to understand that over 10 years ago, John was legally given a ”new beginning” which is why with all that was brought out that happen over 10 years ago… none of that matters. Again… that was then… but, this is now… and… as for right now… John M. Ragsdale is very much above reproach.
