Wasn't the apostle John the one that Jesus "loved". Since he loved everyone and preached it, what is the significance of pointing that out in the gospel?
Did he not also preach to "judge not lest ye be judged" and "he who is without sin cast the first stone"?
Or do prefer solely the old testament with fire and brimstone?
