You've opened another angle to this. You can't really patent spraying borate on wood. Nor can you patent pressure impregnating borate into wood. There's absolutely nothing to stop anybody from doing what Eco is doing, except maybe common sense. To your excellent point then, what do you get if you buy Eco? Debt. The spraying equipment value is neglitiable in the scheme of things. The concept itself is in the public domain, so to speak. Does make you wonder why some future investor wouldn't just bypass Eco's debt and legacy and start from zero instead of some negative number. #1. Don't get an ESR. That has obviously come back to haunt the genius who thought that was a good idea. They wasted a LOT of money on something they never needed to start with.
