Mr. Sheep Standings:

SSK: Good job!

"Speaking of our defending champion (CWS9)he has went from one of the most sheepest persons to one of the contrarians in the competition."

That's true, but what is also interesting is that the top two most sheepy returners from PSL1 below (HWeb2 #3, and ABH3VT #4) were very far down the sheep-o-meter in PSL1. Ironically, both were next to each other then too at #52 and #53. (I wonder what is going on there!) The point being that many have switched sheep positions - from on top to underneath ... I mean...

Also, CWS was the #1 sheep in PSL1 with 79 sheep points compared to snakeman with 52 sheep points in this one. That is despite having 12 more contestants which should have meant a higher sheep rating. The AVERAGE SHEEP RATING in PSL1 was about 37. The AVERAGE SHEEP RATING in PSL2 is about 27. And, again, everything else being equal, it should have been higher. In otherwords, the odds are better that you would match more people on every stock because there are more people available to have your stocks.

Another way to look at the sheep differences. In PSL2, we have the #1 stock (GV) with only 13 common picks - despite 12 more people. In PSL1, we had PDGE (24), ASPN (16), CHAR (16), VPHM (15) and EGY (14) all with more than GV.

One more comment on these sheep numbers. We had 194 stocks out of 76 contestants last time or 2.55 unique stocks per person. We have 248 stocks out of 88 contestants this time or 2.82 unique stocks per person. Less sheeposity.

So, overall, it is clear that it should be a little more wide open this time. Additionally, with it only being 3.5 months, we should see LOTS of movement on a daily basis. That doesn't preclude someone from running away early and staying there. That could easily happen with just one unbelievable stock. It is just as true in PSL2 and PSL1 that the number of single pick stocks are the most. In PSL1 it was 120 single stock picks out of 194 total stocks (62%). In PSL2 it is slightly lower, but still huge 147/248 (59%). So, IF ALL STOCKS WERE BE EQUAL, it remains true that the odds are that any single stock which goes ballistic will have only one benefactor and thus it would not be that strange for one person to run away and hide at anytime IMO.
