I donot think that offering a 1c cash divi with the pps at 50c +/- (pre-split) will be enough to deter any shorts. The deferred divi payment will give them a good laugh. Shorts like to pick on high growth and questionably high margin RTO stocks like SIAF, esp if they also have a strong loyal s/h base that will bid the stock back up after any attack so they can rinse, repeat and profit over and over... But if SIAF pays all its divi in cash and in addition does things like share repurchases and insider buys, that's another story...
