I think investors just don't know what else to invest in these days so they keep money in Intel as a relatively safe place, that's the only thing holding up their stock
I think positive earnings while their primary competitor keeps losing money doesn't hurt either, eh?
Hopefully AMD can turn this around. BTW, Johan has pretty much stated that he'll have an Opteron review up on the 22nd, though he hasn't stated explicitly that *he* did the benchmarking:
