I had some of the Bogle petite syrah 03 last night. It was wonderful, especially considering the price.

Started off really earthy and even leathery nose. There was an incredible amount of fruit, blackberry especially. Almost jammy. Tannins were mild and well balanced. The finish had a grassy taste. I wished for a little more acidity in the end.

Blows away the lindemans which had been my cheapy decent red of choice. It was 12.99 here, so the word might have gotten out. I'll check NH.
