NEW REVIEW OF COFFEE BOOST:

First off, I own a few million shares. mainly because I like MINE's business plan and they seem to execute and stick to the plan. I also love the design of the packaging, and to me, that is half the battle.

I live in Los Angeles, and saw on the store locator, that they had Coffee Boost at the Mobil on Sunset Blvd.

I went down there and looked around. By the teller, there was 3 boxes of 5-hour energy, 3 boxes of a new energy shot with yellow packaging and then one box of coffee boost. I did not see any boxes of Rise (maybe they were sold out). I asked the cashier which one he liked the best, and he said 5-hour energy and then Coffee Boost. He did not like the other energy shot at all. I asked if the Coffee Boost sold well, and he seemed to think so, people came in and bought bottles all the time he said.

So I bought a bottle, went outside and opened it, which took a little longer than I expected. The cap has plastic packaging, so you have to take that off, kinda like what you do with a hot sauce bottle. I shook the bottle and tried it. My first impression was: Yuck!!! It tasted like watered down coffee with a weird medicinal after-taste. Granted, I was expecting something that tasted like Kahlua or Baileys but without the alcohol. Not even close. I tried again and spat it out. really did not like it. I should mention that I don't drink energy shots, have never tasted 5-hour energy, so I don't know if people are okay with the weird after-taste and are just looking for a quick boost. Also, if they just pour it in their coffee, then you can't really taste it.

To be honest, I don't really see how this will catch on with that particular taste, plus the packaging of Coffee Boost is not as inviting as the Rise packaging.

But hey, with Power Brands and Avanzar, I am sure they can get it out there. Just not my cup of tea...ermm...coffee...
