I do not believe that unearned revenues were recognized as reveues. The total sale is booked when shipped but that portion of the sale not earned is transferred from sales to unearned revenues. You only become concerned when unearned revenues decline from one quarter to the next because sales for that quarter were increased from prior period sales.
