Which scams is he involved with in the past? Cause I couldn't find any.

When the beta version of the app was released, it was released to just get server issue out of the way. Gaming companies do the same thing, the put a crappy version of the game out(not to the public, behind closed doors so to speak) just to make sure the servers can handle it and it doesn't conflict with the servers.

So yes, I believe you will see quite a few changes upon full release.
