These companies and their solutions solve two completely different problems.

DSNY's Clipstream G2 enables any video to be played on any device/OS. It needs to be G2 formatted. Think who would want their videos to be played on 99% of all devices.
Customers will include ad agencies, web site owners, video producers. Formatting is done by the video producer or website owner.

Sphere 3D's Glassware enables any device to play the desktop version of over 5000 programs. A perfect example is Flash doesnt work on an iPad but if your company has installed Glassware, or if you have the SurfToGo app on your iPad you would be able to play Flash.

Are they in competition? No not really.
Yes Flash could work on an iPad and ads would play but DSNY is changing the way videos are being created, played and distributed. G2 does so much more with a video than just play it (watermark, track etc).

Sphere enables ANY device to run any program through the Cloud.

The "work" for DSNY takes place when a video it is formatted.
The "work" for Sphere's GW takes place on the corporate server.

We go into much greater detail on the differences/market for these 2 cos and their products in the Oct Issue.
