Hi highstakes, good to hear from you. :) Your question is an excellent one. There are many factors to consider including what you can afford to pay and what you can risk to lose in your current situation. What is the risk-to-reward ratio in purchasing MU compared to other potential stocks that you might be considering? Purchasing MU stock avoids the wasting asset nature of the MU options. Another option is to wait to see how the MU earnings turn out and consider buying on any non-confirmed dip post earnings sell off on the news-type situation.
