Trading means a lot of buying/selling ? ... so these stocks are not buy and hold opportunities ?

"Don't always buy big enough" ... is only felt as a weakness when things go oke ... isn't it a best practice to just make a deal with yourself on how much you spend on each of these stocks.

"Sell to early" ... have you thought about the following strategy ? ... when a stock is up let's say 300% ... sell half and let the rest ride ... until it's again up x00 % ... again sell half ... and let the rest ride.
In this way you never feel you've sold to early, because there is always still something riding ... and you've secured the initial investment incl. some profits.
