I have no proof, but, it stands to reason that if you already have your shares "up for sale", even at an inflated price, it would be unethical for the broker/MM to borrow them to short with. I have seen the "lock em up" comments on many boards... Yet, I have no proof...anyone care to chime in and help a fellow out. I still learning...
