Terrible article. Here are my comments, which I posted on SA:

This is the second time the author has tried to promote VRNG buying out WDDD.

It fails to mention that WDDD had to return $1.9M and issue 7M shares to its financiers in Q3. WDDD likely will end Q3 with under $100K cash. WDDD's litigation has been consistently delayed with a key hearing coming in October and hopefully a Markman hearing scheduled in early 2014.

Based on WDDD's 10Ks, the NCsoft settlement was roughly $400,000 and NCsoft was successful in running WDDD out of cash.

VRNG has been on record that they are looking for operating businesses with patented technologies, which they can leverage their in house talents to create additional value. WDDD fails this test.
