PVE is pleased to announce that Yeosu Cruise Corporation, South Korean company established to promote maritime opportunities and ventures in the City of Yeosu, have sign a Letter of Intent with PVE in order to jointly establish the ferry operations between Port of Yeosu City and Jeju Island.
Yeosu is a city in South Jeolla Province, South Korea, consisting of the Yeosu peninsula as well as 317 islands. Yeo means “beautiful” and Su means “water.” It is an international ocean resort and tourist city.
It was also the host city for the International Exposition Yeosu Korea 2012, www.yeosuexpo2012.kr under the theme of “The Living Ocean and Coast,” promoting diversity of resources and sustainable development. There were over 100 countries and 8 international organizations that participated in the expo.
Jeju Island is an island off the southern coast of South Korea in the Korea Strait. It is also known as the "Island of the Gods" and is a popular vacation spot for Koreans and foreigners alike. It remains the top honeymoon destination for Korean newlyweds, and is also highly regarded as one of the top honeymoon destinations in the world.
It is known as "the Hawaii of Korea" offering visitors a wide range of activities: climbing the Halla-san (South Korea's highest peak) or hiking the Olle-gil (routes), catching sunrises and sunsets over the ocean, riding horses, taking nature tours and relaxing on the sandy beaches.
Peter Villiotis and his team with their expertise in Cruise Operations is the perfect choice to lead the joint venture and expansion plans and to hasten the growing demand for short cruises between the Yeosu peninsula and its islands and Jeju Island.
Mr. Sang Yoon Park, President / CEO of Yeosu Cruise Corporation, says that the venture with PVE is a great partnership. Mr. Park has the necessary permits and concessions for the ferry operation between the two ports while PVE has the operational background and experience.

VDSC is now putting into motion our previously stated plans to establish cruise and ferry operations worldwide. We are establishing to become a revenue producing company that would allow us to fulfill all of our objectives.
