One of the main reasons that the share price is so volatile and can't retain upward momentum is the low level of institutions holding shares. They are the true longs. At less than 5% an increase to a more normal (say) 40% would do wonders to the price. All this talk of MMs playing the price is wishful thinking. The price reflects supply & demand. There are people selling at what longs see as being too low a price. Whether these sellers hold shares or are selling short doesn't really matter. Those trades are happening and that validates the price. When trades dry up the price tests either side to see where supply:demand can balance. More sellers than buyers and it drifts down. To improve the share price Dr Kim needs to sell the potential of Inovio to analysts and institutions. Which he is doing with these presentations, but it takes time. Until then the best course of action for longs is to stop watching the share price & trying to will it to go up. Or just sell and buy-back later, hopefully getting your timing right because it sure will go up.
