Some 2013 contracts awarded-

Achaogen- 60MM to further the development of its drug plazomicin to treat patients with serious Gram-negative bacterial infections.

GSK- up to 200MM, new antibiotics + bioterrorism

Basilea Pharma-89MM for multidrug-resistant Gram-negative pathogens, including those that pose a bio threat.

Cempra- 58MM to develop late stage antibiotic Solithromycin ( bacterial pneumonia ) for bioterrorism aimed at pediatric population

Tetraphase- 67MM to develop new antibiotic effective against multidrug-resistant gram-negative pathogens

Could Brilacidin have utility for bioterrorism like Cempra's Solithromycin?
