There are more grandiose rewards contemplated by some, and great if they happen, but the two likeliest scenarios beyond mere cancellation would be a "rights offering" where existing common shareholders are given a chance to buy shares in the New Rotech at a discount to envisioned emergence S/P, or, the payment of the 10 cent/share compensation for cancelled shares (or a portion of that dime) if the court decides that the legal costs of the Equity Committee which the company cites as caused by shareholders are deemed normal and necessary by Judge Walsh.

The court won't mess with anything so scant as a settlement at today's meager S/P and would probably do nothing at so ridiculous a valuation. We will all likely know in about 2 weeks.
