On a deeper read, there are a few good things about this new Phone, which they did not speak about. For example, the quality of materials used (electronics, optics, etc) is higher than some of the competitors - Its all a 'show' about 'make believe' - Reality distortion field - They gotta present their stuff well IMO.

I do wish that Apple does well as a company - I have owned MacbookPro, iPad, iPhone, etc - Never had a single issue (reliability) - They may turn around - Lets see.

The stock market - as you also pointed out - is a different game - Reality vs Perception - When I saw that phone launch (PPS was around $500 I think) - I felt that the 'perception' would be negative - Hence the call for the short.
